SOLIDserver authorizes an unlimited level for delegating administration according to your organization. Each user has a strict limited access to his or her resources’ perimeter.

High Availability of DHCP and DNS services

SOLIDserver supplies a high availabity architecture of DHCP services in active/active mode. By activating redundancy services you will benefit from a value added service without additional operational costs. All the management of the high availability is transparent and automatically operated by SOLIDserver. In case of server unavailability service continuity will be ensured. The activation of the failover is immediate, without any interruption of service.

Quick DNS and DHCP service deployment

SOLIDserver is a Plug and Play technology that enables the efficient deployment of new services that can be independent servers or integrated severs within IPManager architecture or within GRID architecture. GRID architecture brings the capability to manage DNS and DHCP services located anywhere; from any SOLIDserver with automated synchronization of modified configurations to other SOLIDserver included in the GRID. The detection of a new SOLIDserver by the central management server is automatic.

SOLIDserver includes graphical tools that simplify the importation of data from BIND9 and BIND 8, Microsoft® Windows servers, Alcatel-Lucent VitalQIP®, Nortel™ NetID and Cisco© CNR.

VOIP features

SOLIDserver brings all the necessary components to a high-availability VOIP architecture including Electronic NUMbering (ENUM) for DNS, specific DHCP capabilities for IP phone vendors and TFTP services.
