Delegation and administration rights

IPManager with AuthorityManager brings a true and reliable solution for organizing and managing your administration delegation rights according to the actual needs and also ensures the adaptation capacities to all the possible evolutions. AuthorityManager allows the application of granular delegation rights in order to implement a hierarchical and matrix organization. According to the user’s rights, the user interface will be automatically profiled in order to simplify the navigation, the reading of the information, and the user’s interactions.

Tracking of the administration tasks

AuthorityManager enables to track one by one all the administration tasks carried out through IPManager. Based on an intuitive web interface it is possible to perform multi criteria searches in order to filter the returned results. User tracking guarantees the delegation without any compromise on the network operations visibility.

External Authentication

The user authentication on IPManager can rely on external user directories like LDAP, Microsoft® Active Directory (AD), RADIUS or TACACS®. More than the authentication, the delegation of the rights by users can be replicated from a Microsoft® Active Directory or an LDAP directory thanks to the use of attributes or groups. This feature enables AuthorityManager to be globally integrated in your full policy of users’ management, of Single Sign-On (SSO) service and of application accesses.

Users’ profile management

AuthorityManager allows the creation of an unlimited number of user profiles on which it is possible to associate administration rights with IP resources. When adding a user to a profile, the rights defined on a group of resources to be administrated are automatically assigned to the user.

Organizational salability

With the integration of new networks or new services, the resources managed by the companies evolve continuously.  That's why; it is very important that the administration of IP addresses and names is adaptable to the evolution of your organization.

Thus, new users, new domains and/or new networks can be added to one or several administrative profiles without any limitation of quantities and of combinations. In the same way, access rights can be modified without disturbing the users in a group. AuthorityManager shows the organization of the company, if this organization is modified, AuthorityManager will modify itself also, in the same way.
