VideoEffective Zero Trust: Improve App Access Control by Segmentation & DNS Filtering [German]

In this video- presented in German and originally aired October 2021 for the IT-SA EXPO Congress in Nuremberg- you will learn how DNS adds an early security layer by applying granular client grouping and deny/allow listing to control which users can access which apps.

For effective zero trust, controlling which devices can access which apps and domains is vital. Doing that through authentication or applying domain deny listing to all devices leaves the door open to malware. Intelligent control requires filtering at the client level (microsegmentation) which is complex to set up and manage using firewalls, but can be done more simply via DNS, providing a security barrier at the earliest point in the traffic flow.
